CBD is short for the name Cannabidiol and is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of at least 113 identified cannabinoids in Industrial Hemp Plants. However CBD is not psychoactive and completely legal.From birth, we naturally produce endocannabinoids-a compound similar to CBD. Every human and many animals too have a system present in their bodies known as The Endogenous Cannabinoid System. Most hemp oil or CBD products are sold with much lower levels of THC (less than 0.2%) so most consumers will never have a problem passing a drugs test. All our products meet EU standards and contain (less than 0.2% THC). That being said in some extremely rare cases if you exceed the recommend daily amount this can cause a failure on drug tests for THC. This result is sometimes referred to as a ‘false positive’ similar to consuming to many poppy seeds which can be bought in any health food store. Always stick to the recommended dose too and if you are taking other meds keep a two hour window between taking CBD and whatever else you take.
